Throughout the year she enjoys walking in the Peak District. She also spends part of her year in France.

Inspiration for her painting is drawn from the fascinating shapes of the rocks encountered on her walks and the colours of South West France.

In 2005 she won the “Derwent Award” in an Open Exhibition organised by the Little London Gallery, Holloway, Derbyshire with a painting of Matlock Bath.

She was asked to design the way marker for the 35 mile “Chesterfield Round Walk” launched in June 2005.
