I am a textile artist and a hand-weaver.

I am fascinated by the process of turning thread into fabric and the icing on the cake is the embellishment of the basic cloth. I love the exploration of colour and texture involved but also want to produce functional items. At present I am making heavy warp-faced rugs and wall hangings, whilst also exploring finer yarns and techniques which distort the woven web.
