Workshops at London Road Gallery
The London Road Gallery will be running more workshops in Summer and Autumn 2006 with well-known local artists and crafts people as tutors.
All workshops will be held on the gallery premises. The cost of a workshop is £25 per person.
We would welcome any feedback about the workshops, ideas for new ones or suggestions for venues in other areas of Sheffield; we will always try and match the workshops to an appropriate venue with the necessary facilities.

Workshops currently available are:
Sculptural Bead Making - Sat. 26th August 10.30am - 3.30pm
Make your own unique sculptural beads to use as decoration or in jewellery making,
using Tyvek papers and bondable fabrics.

Knitting for colour- Sun.17th September 10.30am - 3.30pm
Using colour in different ways with special reference to slip-stitch and
mosaic techniques. A day of fun and exploration

Creating Textured Papers

Have fun experimenting with resists, using salt, wax, and cling film to create design surfaces, with amazing results.

Booking a Workshop
Email your name, address, telephone number and the workshop you wish to join to info@londonroadgallery.co.uk. or telephone 0114 2010630. Then post your cheque, made out to London Road Gallery, to London Road Gallery, 100 London Road, Sheffield, S2 4LR. Alternatively, call in to the gallery to make a booking.
As soon as we receive your booking we will send you a map to help you find the venue and a list of requirements for the workshop. A small fee may be charged on the day for some of the materials provided. The venue is accessible to wheelchair users.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the cost, please bring a packed lunch.

Cancellations
In the event of a workshop not running, your fee will be returned to you. If you need to cancel a booking your fee will be refunded if the place can be filled from a waiting list.
